When a Pokémon with Water Absorb is hit by a [img]https://pokeonecommunity.com/symbols/pokemontype/Water.png[/img]-type move, its HP is restored by one quarter of its maximum HP, and the move will have no effect on that Pokémon (if a Pokémon with this Ability already has full HP, the [img]https://pokeonecommunity.com/symbols/pokemontype/Water.png[/img]-type move will do nothing).
Water Absorb will not activate if the Pokémon is protected from the [img]https://pokeonecommunity.com/symbols/pokemontype/Water.png[/img]-type move.
If a Pokémon with Water Absorb is holding an [url=https://pokeonecommunity.com/index.php?mod=pokemon&action=items&ID=5]Absorb Bulb[/url] or [url=https://pokeonecommunity.com/index.php?mod=pokemon&action=items&ID=304]Luminous Moss[/url], [url=https://pokeonecommunity.com/index.php?mod=pokemon&action=abilities&ID=11]Water Absorb[/url] absorbs the move, so the item's effect is not triggered. |
