To fully explore the Abyssal Ruins, you will need the following moves on your team: Surf, Dive, Strength, Flash
Note: You cannot substitute Flash with the Flashlight item, the move has to be taught to a Pokémon in your team.

There are a lot of different items that can be found within, so I will break them down into four categories:
Arceus Plates
All types of plates besides Pixie Plate (Fairy); These cannot be sold to the Billionaire Maniac in Undella Town
Common Relics
Relic Copper ($1,000)
Relic Silver ($2,000)
Relic Gold ($2,500)
Rare Relics
Relic Vase ($5,000)
Relic Band ($7,000)
Relic Statue ($8,000)
Crown
Relic Crown ($9,000)

These items can be sold to the Billionaire Maniac NPC inside the Undella Town Pokémon center.

There are four dive spot entrances, all located around Undella Bay. This guide will use the west entrance as it is the closest to Undella Town, being a short surf about 20 tiles right and 5 tiles down from the bottom right edge of the shore. All entrances can be used to reach the upper floors and may have more loot nearby.

Once you use Dive, you are in the “main lobby” for the Abyssal Ruins. Before proceeding north, there are two things to be aware of:
1) There is a 500 step counter that starts when you enter Abyssal Ruins 1F. Once you have taken 500 steps, you are teleported back out to the dive spot that you entered from. You may re-enter the ruins as many times as you like for no cost.
2) If you want to explore past 1F, you must reach the strength boulder in the center of the room before you have taken 190 steps. This essentially means that you have to avoid picking up items or getting lost on the way to the center, otherwise you will be considered “greedy” and thus not allowed to continue up the floors. This step rule only applies to 1F.

Abyssal Ruins 1F

If you are exploring for items on this floor, here is a rough estimate of what you will find:
Arceus Plates: 75%
Common Relics: 25%
Rare Relics: 0%

If you wish to reach the next floor, you must avoid items and push the strength boulder within 190 steps. This is the optimal path from the west entrance:

1) Up 15 tiles
2) Right 11 tiles
3) Down 7 tiles
4) Right 22 tiles
5) Up 6 tiles
6) Right 4 tiles
7) Up 11 tiles
8) Right 4 tiles
9) Down 2 tiles
10) Right 4 tiles
11) Down 19 tiles
12) Right 4 tiles
13) Up 2 tiles
14) Right 1 tile
15) Up 2 tiles

Abyssal Ruins 2F

If you are exploring for items on this floor, here is a rough estimate of what you will find:
Arceus Plates: 65%
Common Relics: 30%
Rare Relics: 5%

If you wish to reach the next floor, a Pokémon on your team must know Flash to move the boulder. This is the optimal path from the entrance:

1) Right 3 tiles
2) Down 10 tiles
3) Right 8 tiles
4) Up 14 tiles
5) Right 7 tiles
6) Up 13 tiles
7) Left 18 tiles
8) Down 11 tiles
9) Left 10 tiles

Abyssal Ruins 3F

If you are exploring for items on this floor, here is a rough estimate of what you will find:
Arceus Plates: 0%
Common Relics: 75%
Rare Relics: 25%

If you wish to reach the next floor, a Pokémon on your team must know Strength to move the boulder. this is the optimal path from the entrance:

1) Right 5 tiles
2) Up 3 tiles if coming from upper entrance, Down 3 tiles if coming from lower entrance
3) Right 8 tiles
4) Down 7 tiles if coming from upper entrance, Up 7 tiles if coming from lower entrance

Abyssal Ruins 4F

You made it to the top! There are no randomly generated items to search for here, but the Relic Crown has roughly a 25% chance to spawn in the center of the room daily. To exit the ruins, you can go back to searching the lower floors or just run in circles until you have reached your 500 step limit.
