Why the median
The median is the lead figure, not the average: one mispriced sale barely moves it, and the average it would move a long way. The lowest and the highest price stand beside it, so the spread is visible rather than smoothed away.
Thin data says so
Below 5 sales in the period there is no median — the entry stays and shows the prices it actually has. A median from two sales is a number pretending to be certainty.
What counts
Only trades both sides confirmed, above the minimum value, with no confirmed scam case. Sales paid in items are converted at the rate the seller set and can be switched off above. Rarity classes are never averaged together, and shiny is always its own market.
