Ruins of Alph Quest

The Ruins of Alph are located in Johto. This mysterious area is home to the Unown and contains several puzzles required for completion.

Location & Map

Step 1

Navigate to the Ruins of Alph location as shown on the world map.

Step 2

Refer to the Ruins of Alph map to find the various entrances and hall locations.

Step 3

Speak with Dr. Vasquez to begin the transcription quest.

Step 4

Enter the Great Hall. You need to defeat or catch Unown until you collect 25 transcriptions.

Step 5

Continue exploring the Great Hall to find various Unown forms for your collection.

Step 6

Speak with Dr. Croft to start the Unown Language puzzle quest.

Step 7

Head back to the Great Hall to locate the next puzzle area.

Step 8

Locate the ladder within the hall and head down into the ruins below.

Step 9

Find two statues within the ruins that have the same word inscribed on them.

Step 10

Interact with the matching statues one after the other to complete the sequence.
