If you’re reading this, you’re probably checking out Little Cup (LC) for the first time. Awesome! We’d love to see you get involved, whether by joining the tournament or just participating when it goes live on Twitch June 27th at 11am CST.
Please Sign up for the Tournament Here!
Before you hop right in, though, there are some things you should know about playing Little Cup. This guide aims to explain some of its unique aspects, so you can enjoy playing as much as possible. We hope you stick around in LC!”
Welcome to Little Cup, where the rules of engagement are unique! Only Pokémon that are at the very first stage of their evolutionary line and can still evolve further are permitted. Think of it this way: Phanpy gets a pass because it evolves into Donphan and doesn’t come from another Pokémon. But Ivysaur? Nope, it’s out since it evolves from Bulbasaur. And sorry, Lapras fans, any Pokémon that can’t evolve at all is also off-limits.
Every Pokémon battling in Little Cup will have its level standardized to a powerful 100.
Forget the usual restrictions on items! In Little Cup, the Item Clause is suspended, giving you the freedom to load up your entire team with the same powerful item if you wish.
Just remember one crucial rule: the Baton Pass Clause is active. That means any Pokémon with the move Baton Pass won’t be allowed on your roster.
The Species Clause is also active, meaning you can only use one of each Pokémon per team (no two Mienfoos, for example).
We’re incredibly excited to bring this new idea to the entire PokeOne community! We hope you’ll love it, as we aim to launch an entirely new PvP series with different approaches, hopefully every month! This tournament requires a minimum of 8 participants and has no maximum size.
Amazing prizes await the first, second, and third place winners, along with surprises for our Twitch viewers! Come join us and try your luck!
We’ll be revealing the date very soon, so stay tuned to our Discord for updates!
