Egg Hatching
The above guide shows an efficient way to hatch your Pokémon eggs, and gives you roughly 2500 steps per trip towards your egg (with flame body/magma armor):
- Accept a bounty from Route U3
- Accept the “Treasures and Pots” quest from Travis outside Dragon Spiral Tower
- Get your eggs and Flame Body/Magma Armor Pokemon and fly to Nacrene City.
- Use the “Go to” button on the “Treasures and Pots” quest
- Once you reach Driftveil City, stop your trainer. Now use the “Go to” button on the U3 Bounty
- Repeat this until your eggs hatch
FOSSILS
Obtaining fossils
Obtaining Fossils:
- In Kanto you can get 2 fossils, you will choose between Helix and Dome while doing the story, and in Pewter City you can get an Old Amber from Dr. Bone.
- In Unova you can choose either the Cover or Plume Fossil during the story. You can choose a fossil from NPC Grimes (Found in lower level Twist Mountain). The fossil resets daily and is a choice between Skull, Root, Dome, Armor and Claw. You can only choose one per in-game week; so make sure to take the one you want.
- During the Easter Event, certain Pokemon have the chance to drop fossils: You can get the Dome Fossil (Staryu), Helix Fossil (Gyarados) and Old Amber (Lapras).
- Certain Bosses have a chance to drop fossils
